Facial Thread Veins Removal
Thread veins are very common in both men and women. They are harmless and can occur following sun burn or a trauma to the skin. They arise from a loss of collagen in the skins thickness as the tiny blood vessels come closer to the surface and become visible.
Thread veins are harmless and can be removed without loss of circulation to the surrounding tissue, but they also can grow back or grow a new branch (angiogenesis). Treatment is usually successful after one treatment, but you may need more treatments for more stubborn vessels or additional vessels. Thread veins can appear as a tangled group of thread veins (Spider vein or telangietasia).
Facial thread veins can easily be removed using Advanced Electrolysis where the tissue is cauterised using a hot needle. This causes the blood to coagulate (clot) and the vessel collapses. Afterwards, there is a small red mark, which may blister, and must be treated like a small burn.
so that the skin heals naturally and without scarring. Infection control is the most important factor following treatment and being careful not to pick or scratch or rub the scab formed as this increases the risk of scarring.
Following treatment, avoid direct sunlight, heat, exercise and alcohol. Do not put make up on for 24 hours.

Facial Thread Veins will be permanently removed although they do have a tendency to recur (in same area).
You will have a small wound like a burn/spot in the treated area which needs to be kept clean and dry. dressings will be supplied to help them stay clean and not catch on clothing. Skin takes a week to heal and then a few weeks to reduce redness as per a normal wound healing response. You may be left with a reddened or white area but it will be flat.
